4 checklists for digital success every small business should have

Thinking of starting a business? Looking to improve your business through digital channels? There are so many things to consider it’s hard to even know where to start.

Pen and pad with a 4-point to do checklist: wake up (checked), make coffee (checked), drink coffee (checked), make more coffee (unchecked)

If you’re running or starting a business, you’ll know there are plenty of things to do. From a digital perspective, it’s easy to think that most of the work will fall under the marketing department, but that’s just not true. Brand development, website, how you position yourself in the market, lead capture and nurture are things that you might have heard of, but then there are other things like website analytics, search console, keyword research and opportunities, and customer experience engines that will give you insights and the edge to help you get and stay ahead of the competition.

We’ve split our checklists into 4 grouped somewhat logically, being:

  • Getting started
  • Digital Foundations
  • Marketer’s Friend; and
  • Extras
